It is of old method to use painting technology to protect metal surface from corrosion, such as each kind coating, metal hot spraying painting, organic painting etc; all achieve good protection effect. Compared with iron, zinc and molybdenum etc. are strongly active metal; using hot spraying zinc, molybdenum or its alloy to form metal painting which can be good protection to copper and iron metal; however as metal painting after hot spraying is adhering to copper and iron base material surface by 4~40μm particle atomized from melted metal; painting structure is very loose and corrosive medium can easily permeate to steel base material to make it corroded; its surface must use sealed paint to conduct sealing treatment. Now sealed material usually use liquid painting or every kind of paint; in practical use especially under severe corrosive environment, many steel construction element which use above technology process can be easily permeated by corrosive medium quickly on its outer sealed layer to corrode metal base material; besides, liquid painting can pollute environment more or less; its cost is high and painting quality can’t be guaranteed.
Powder painting doesn’t contain solvent and can be used 100%; it’s efficient, environment-friendly, energy- saving, economical; its painting has excellent physical mechanical, weather-proof& anti-corrosion performance; its development is swift and violent worldwide during recent 20 years. Currently it uses epoxy resin powder painting with flaky material as sealed layer for hot spraying metal painting; meanwhile the technology design is not reported to use thermosetting powder painting with decoration and protection function as outer layer.
Metal surface corrosion protection compound painting was invented by Xuzhou Zhengling Coating Co., Ltd. (ZENITHCOAT) Lu Dongfang, Yuanjian and Zhaobing; metal surface tight coupling compound painting covered by bottom layer, middle layer and outer layer; bottom layer is hot spraying metal; middle layer is epoxy powder painting, outer layer is thermosetting powder painting.
Effective result of this compound painting is: hot spray metal layer has good anti-corrosion protection ability; it can choose single metal hot spray layer, 2 kinds or many kinds metal alloy layer, many kinds metals single hot spray layer superposed compound painting as per metal base material protection needs; it can make the best of active metal anodic protection or each kind metal alloy excellent anti-corrosion protection property; it uses epoxy powder with low viscosity and filled with flaky material as sealed painting layer; during heating solidifying, melted powder painting can quickly infiltrate in spray gap and get good sealed effect; the flaky material(such as inert mica powder, sheet oxide salt filler and active sheep metal material such as zinc, aluminum and other alloy plate)not only improves painting compactness but also has good function as excellent shielding which can prevent or even block corrosive medium route; using active sheet metal can use up corrosive medium and use corrosion products to further separate its infiltration; outer layer can use decorative or functional thermosetting powder painting as per protection needs; added ultraviolet absorber, anti-oxygen, PTFE, glass fiber, sheet color filler, nanometer materials can respectively function as resistance to sunlight, anti-aging, hardening and abrasion resistant, anti-corrosion or painting self-cleaning to make outer painting has excellent physical mechanical and weather-resistant& anti-aging property to realize unity for decoration and protection.
